Project: Better Terra Inc.

This is a concept designed for a company aimed at hosting artist’s workshops. The company name posed an interesting challenge: it could easily lead one to believe that Better Terra Inc. is an agriculture or environment-focused entity, so I made a point of keeping the logo descriptive.
While I made several sketches, I selected this design as one of the most functional yet aesthetic. The logo ties together both art and earth via the pen and keeps dynamic movement with the drawn line. The drawn line also functions as a descriptive element demonstrating that Better Terra is an art instruction company specifically. The font—Laima Thin—is specifically meant to be reminiscent of an artist’s draft— the outlines are there, it only waits for the consumer to finish the work.
I crafted a branding sheet using this logo as my focal point.

Project: Open Dialogue
For my senior project at Arizona State University, the students banded together to put on an exhibit based around concepts of time and social change. We each chose a social topic we were passionate about and created timepiece-related designs to reflect those topics.
As part of the team focused on marketing the exhibit, my particular task was to create motion graphics to enhance our social media presence, especially for Instagram Reels.

The animated GIFs above were made as a proof of concept for our social media (before we decided on a title, hence the placeholder “Clock Exhibition”).
The two videos below were created for Reels and TikTok and resulted in a successful increase in engagement.
Project: (W)rites of Passage
(W)rites of Passage is a Boulder-based writer’s workshop hosted by author Sarah Elizabeth Schantz. I have personally collaborated with Sarah on using social media to promote her seasonally-themed workshops. She chose the photographs and I would edit them into promotional material. Below are a selection of my favorites.

Photography: FRCC Equity & Inclusion Summit ’24 and ’25
I was approached by Front Range Community College in Westminster, Colorado to be one of the photographers for their 2024 Equity & Inclusion Summit conference. Specifically, I was supposed to be discreet and unobtrusive while taking photographs of their awards ceremony, breakout sessions, and the environment for marketing and archival purposes. FRCC was pleased with the work and had me return for their 2025 Summit.
